Orchard Way, Blakelaw, is a development of 98 new homes on a site less than four miles from Newcastle city centre.
Built in three phases, when complete the site will comprise a range of two, three and four bedroom homes.
All will be built to Code 3 of the government’s standard for sustainability, complete with energy saving appliances and environmental design features. These include roof mounted solar heating panels, the latest condensing boilers, energy saving lighting, double glazing and insulated walls to lower heating bills, cycle storage and rainwater harvesting – all of which will save you money on your energy bills and be kind to the environment.
All of the homes for outright sale are available for purchase through First Step, Keepmoat Homes’ shared equity scheme. If eligible for the scheme, buyers can own 100% of the property for just 85% of the asking price. The rest comes in the form of a loan with no repayments due for up to five years. Blakelaw is located in the West End of Newcastle upon Tyne and offers excellent transport links to the city and its surrounding amenities.
Houses on the development are yet to be put into a council tax bracket. The following charges are merely guidelines and are subject to change. Band A £1,007.50, Band B £1,175.41, Band C £1,343.33 and Band D £1,511.26.
