Shirebrook is a small town with a population of around 10,000. It has all the necessary local amenities, a large range of shops plus a fishing lake and skate park. A leisure centre is currently being re-developed in the town.  For anything else, 6.5 miles to the south is Mansfield that has a large shopping centre

The Church Fields development is ideally located with excellent links to both Mansfield and Worksop. The main road through Shirebrook is the B6407 that links to the A60. The M1 can be reached just under 6 miles away and that links with Nottingham to the south and Sheffield and the A1(M) to the north

The town is served by plenty of buses and the train station connects the town with nearby towns, cities and the national train network around the country.

There is an array of convenient shops in Shirebrook, including a newsagents and a post office. Nearby Mansfield and Chesterfield both have large shopping centres. Sheffield Madowhall Shopping Centre is 26miles away.
