Location, travel and transport

 

The Regency Park development is on Queen's Road, just off the A597 which connects with the A59 to the south which leads directly into Liverpool.

There are two nearby railway stations in Bootle, Oriel Road and the New Strand, both of which have trains leaving every 15 minutes through the day to Southport to the north and to Hunts Cross via Liverpool Central to the south.

The nearby A59 connects with the M58 and M59, onto the M6 and rest of the UK's motorway network.

Amenities

To the north is the New Strand Shopping Centre, Boasting over 130 stores, 'The Strand' is the largest single shopping centre in Bootle and the surrounding area. Many well know high street names can be found amongst its numerous stores.

The town has a leisure centre located in the North Park area, which includes a modern gym, swimming pool, and various indoor sports halls,

There are a number of takeaways nearby, food shops, a chemist, DIY store, a greengrocers and hairdressers. Supermarkets include Tesco, Asda and Somerfield and are all within a mile of Regency Park.

Out and about

The town contains a wide range of pubs, bars and restaurants. There is also an Odeon Cinema showing the latest releases.

The world famous Aintree Racecourse, home of the Grand National, is just 2.7 miles away, whilst lovers of the outdoors are spoilt for choice, with the beaches and dunes in Sefton and around Wirral Peninsula offering some excellent walks.

The acclaimed Knowsley Hall and Knowsley Safari Park are 7.3 miles away and offer the perfect family day out.

Liverpool

 

The Regency Park development is just 2.6 miles to the north of Liverpool city centre. Named the Capital of culture 2008, Liverpool offers everything, from culture and entertainment to shopping and fine dining.

There are a number of theatres including the Empire, the Playhouse and the Royal Court. The city also boasts one of the best music scenes in the country with a number of live venues such as Masque, Znazibar, the O2 Academy and the recently opened Echo Arena.

Art lovers are spoilt for choice with the more galleries and museums than any city in the UK outside London, including the northern branch of the iconic modern art gallery the Tate.

Liverpool is a mecca for shopping lovers, with a host of designers stores and boutiques, and also contains restaurants covering cuisines from around the world and to suit all buddgets.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport is just 7.5 miles away, with domestic services and scheduled flights to dozens of locations across Europe, the Near East, North Africa and North America.

Regency Park is situated in the town of Bootle, part of the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton. Among Bootle's neighbouring districts are Kirkdale to the south, Walton to the east, with Seaforth and Litherland to the north.

Bootle is 4 miles (6.4 km) to the north of Liverpool city centre, and according to the 2001 census has a total resident population of 77,640.

The development is also situated close to the Hugh Baird College, perfect for those progressing into further education.
